Description

Released by Sunsoft in 1983, Arabian is a four-level action game inspired by the world of One Thousand and One Nights. Players control the protagonist, navigating maze-like maps to collect magic jars scattered throughout each stage. The exhilarating experience of riding a magic carpet to zip freely across the screen, combined with beautiful graphics and diverse animations that were groundbreaking for an arcade game of that era, captivated many players. As one of the early masterpieces that defined Sunsoft’s golden age, it remains a significant title that has left its mark on arcade game history.

Story

Set in ancient Persia, an Arabian prince embarks on an adventure to rescue a kidnapped princess. Traveling through various locations such as ships, caves, and castles, the prince makes his way toward the princess while collecting magic pots. The game progresses in a chapter-based format, as he advances by avoiding or defeating the enemies that block his path.
