Description

Released by Data East for arcades in March 1990, this is a wild action brawler set in the near future. The game features an exhilarating combat system that allows you to not only punch and kick, but also pick up and throw almost any object in your surroundings, such as street signs and automobiles. Along with its rap-style soundtrack, these elements create a unique and gritty atmosphere. It is noted that the original hardware design featured a title logo split into three segments, and the game contains specific conditions under which the tempo of the background music changes. These features are naturally integrated across the game's six total stages.

Story

In 199X, New York City was decimated by a mysterious, massive explosion, leaving it a desolate wasteland. Two years later, with the ruins now ruled by an armed organization known as the "Big Busters," the government hires two mercenaries and orders them to reclaim the city. Players control these two protagonists, each gifted with superior power and speed, as they fight their way toward the enemy boss who rules the city.
