Description

Released by Taito in 1980, Steel Worker is a unique action game set on the steel beams of a construction site. Players control a steelworker operating at great heights, dodging oncoming enemies to complete their objectives in a thrilling experience. As a challenging title from the dawn of the arcade era, it successfully translated the atmosphere of blue-collar craftsmanship into a game system, making it an essential piece of history when discussing the diverse portfolio of Taito’s early 1980s titles.

Story

As the foreman of a construction site, you are responsible for building scaffolding for workers operating at great heights. Your goal is to strategically place steel beams to create a connected route, ensuring workers reach their destination safely and preventing any falls. You will complete these bridges by navigating obstacles, sometimes even by reversing the direction in which the workers travel.
