Released by Nintendo in 1984, Super Punch-Out!! is a fighting game where players take on the role of a boxer, battling a series of unique rivals to claim and defend the championship title. The game’s greatest appeal lies in its use of a dual-monitor setup—a groundbreaking feature at the time—which creates an overwhelming sense of power and immersion. The viewpoint looks out onto the ring from directly behind the player, and the introduction of a "ducking" maneuver executed by pulling the lever upward allowed for more strategic gameplay. It should be noted that, when compared to surviving original arcade cabinets, there is a historical discrepancy: the sound effect associated with the opponent Dragon Chan’s kicks is not reproduced in this version.
