Description

Released by Sega in 1984 and developed by Sanritsu, Bank Panic is a unique gun-shooting game set in a Wild West bank. Players navigate between various teller windows, shooting bandits who burst from behind doors while rescuing innocent customers and collecting deposits in a high-stakes, suspenseful experience. The system, which requires players to shift their viewpoint left and right while making split-second decisions, brought a fresh sense of tension to the arcade games of the time. Simple yet highly polished, this classic remains vividly etched in the memories of retro gaming fans.

Story

In this arcade game, the player takes on the role of a bank sheriff tasked with fending off a succession of bank robbers. Standing before a row of bank teller windows, the player must quickly distinguish the robbers appearing from behind opening doors and shoot them down. The objective is to defeat the robbers at every door and collect the cash, all while being careful not to accidentally shoot the depositors who appear from time to time.
