Description

Released by Banpresto for arcades in 1996, *Bang Bang Ball* is an action game that follows in the tradition of classic titles where the player bounces a ball across the screen to break blocks. The simple yet exhilarating gameplay system—in which players control a character to keep the ball in play and destroy a succession of targets—captured the attention of gamers at the time. By balancing high addictiveness with deep strategic elements, this title, a staple of the mid-90s arcade scene, continues to deliver a brand of enjoyment that remains relevant in modern puzzle-action games.

Story

Two mice on skateboards set out on an adventure to rescue their heroine, who has been kidnapped by a gang of villainous cats. They take on numerous puzzle-like challenges by throwing balls at moving, color-coded balls on the field to make them disappear. By clearing the obstacles in their path, they push forward toward the deepest part of each stage.
