Palamedes

Released by Taito in 1990, Palamedes is an action-puzzle game originally developed for the arcade. The game features a unique mechanic where players must aim and shoot a die at rows of dice falling from the top of the screen, matching the numbers to clear them. By strategically forming sets—such as multiples or a total sum of 21—with the collected dice, players can clear lines and earn bonus points. Its challenging gameplay, which escalates up to level 99, captivated many players of the era.
