Description

Released by Taito for arcades in March 1989, this game is a vertically scrolling shoot-'em-up in which players use an eight-way joystick and two buttons to shoot down waves of enemy aircraft. Set across diverse environments such as grasslands, ice fields, and cities, players must utilize classic power-up items and a limited supply of powerful missiles to achieve the ultimate goal: the destruction of the "Dragon Bat" bomber. While the game features a structure reminiscent of popular titles by Toaplan, it ultimately fell short of its contemporary competitors in terms of originality and game balance throughout its six stages. Notably, the game suffered from technical glitches at launch that caused sprites to remain on screen, offering a glimpse into the development environment of the era.
