Its appeal lies in a strategic component that requires the skillful use of grenades and tanks, coupled with a distinctive channel switch system that allows for eight-directional firing. With four diverse stages ranging from valleys to deserts, the game’s high level of polish ensured it became a long-running hit beloved by many. Regarding the intuitive control scheme intended from the outset of development, it has been noted that contemporary analog input methods are arguably more suitable than the original joystick. As a side note, a unique and playful feature of this game is that players can even experiment with the channel switch controls during the demo sequence.
