Description

Released by Capcom in 1985, the arcade game *Ghosts 'n Goblins* stunned players of its time with its beautifully detailed graphics and enemy characters like the "Red Arremer," which moved with a sophisticated, lifelike quality. Comprised of seven stages that must be cleared twice to reach the true ending, the game’s immense popularity has led to it being remembered as a title that symbolizes Capcom’s rise to prominence. Please note that certain versions of the game exhibit phenomena stemming from the development environment of the era, such as the background music stopping after a time warning or irregular enemy behavior in specific stages. If you wish to continue after a game over, please insert a coin and then press the Start button while holding the Shot button. Additionally, some unique phenomena related to the hardware, such as behavior during attract mode, may also be present.

Story

On a peaceful, sunny day, the knight Arthur was resting in a graveyard with his lover, the Princess. Suddenly, the Demon King appeared, abducted the Princess, and whisked her away to the Demon World. To rescue the kidnapped Princess, Arthur ventures alone into the Demon World village.
