Description

Released by Nova Games in 1983 and distributed in Japan by Taito, Intrepid is an action game composed of multiple distinct stages. The game is characterized by its vertical movement, requiring players to progress by either avoiding enemies or eliminating them with weapons, serving as an excellent example of the sophisticated level design that defined the evolution of arcade games at the time. The tension created by its intense action and high difficulty remains vivid in the memories of those who experienced the gaming scene of the early 1980s. We invite you to experience this simple yet profound challenge, brought to life through the technology of its era, here in our exhibit.

Story

You play as an operative infiltrating an enemy-guarded embassy. Your objective is to explore each floor of the building, collect necessary items such as keys and security codes, and retrieve classified documents kept in a safe. While avoiding enemy guards, you must use elevators and stairs to make your escape from the facility.
