Description

Released by Taito in 1988 and developed by TAD Corporation, this fixed-screen shooting game places the player at the bottom of the screen, tasked with attacking enemy territory. Players move left and right while controlling a targeting reticle, creating an exhilarating gameplay experience that involves destroying enemy structures to overwhelm opposing forces—a gameplay style that captivated gamers at the time. Today, the game is cemented in arcade history as a pioneering title that established the "combat shooting" genre.

Story

The player takes on the role of a special forces soldier, heading into the battlefield alone to seize enemy military strongholds. This is a fixed-screen shooting game where you clear stages by shooting and eliminating the enemy soldiers and weapons that appear, depleting the target gauge at the top of the screen to zero. The objective is to destroy the base while utilizing cover to evade enemy attacks.
