Gradius III: From Legend to Myth

Released by Konami for arcades in 1989, this title is the third installment in the popular Gradius shooting game series. Featuring a newly introduced edit weapon system that allows players to customize their loadout, the game also drew players into a vast, alien abyss through beautiful graphics and spectacular production values that were unmatched at the time. With an overwhelming difficulty and level of polish that made it the culmination of the series, it is still talked about today as a high-water mark in the history of shooting games.
