Description

Released by Sega in 1982, Subroc-3D is a landmark title in arcade game history that introduced innovative "3D stereoscopy." By looking through a dedicated scope, players could experience a battlefield with immersive depth—a feat that surprised many at the time and stands as a symbol of the technical ambition of that era. The tense gameplay, in which players pilot a submarine to defeat approaching enemies, remains deeply etched in the history of retro gaming to this day.

Story

An alien invasion force, boasting advanced technological prowess, approaches the Earth's sphere, signaling the start of a battle for the survival of humanity. Piloting the special submarine "Subroc," the player must eliminate enemy motherships, submarines, and obstacles such as sea mines, while conquering a fortress that stretches from the deep sea to the water's surface. Your mission is to annihilate the approaching enemies and save humanity within a battlefield that utilizes a three-dimensional, depth-oriented visual effect.
