Description

Released in April 1984 by Nihon Bussan, *Seicross* (originally titled *Sector Zone* in Japan) is a fast-paced isometric action game that blends racing and shooting mechanics. Players pilot the "Gilgitt," a futuristic rescue bike, through challenging landscapes to save stranded members of the peaceful Petra tribe from the hostile Basrah race. Competing against enemies while managing energy levels and collecting power modules, players must navigate increasingly difficult terrains and battle menacing obstacles. This title serves as a notable example of early arcade-style vehicular combat, later seeing a home port to the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Story

On the planet Colla, the peaceful and highly advanced Petra people are suddenly caught off guard when the hostile Basura race declares war. Lacking the means to fight back, the pacifist Petra are driven underground by the invaders. To rescue their stranded comrades, the survivors develop a specialized rescue motorcycle known as the "Gilgit" and charge into the perilous battlefield.
