Alien Sector

Released by Namco in July 1985 for arcades, this action game follows an alien named "Kissy" as they infiltrate the underground fortress of "Baraduke," which is controlled by the sinister "Octy," in order to rescue the peaceful "Paccet" species. The game is characterized by its eerie, underwater-themed setting and a highly original design for its time: it foregoes background music entirely, using only sound effects to create a deep, immersive sense of reality. Please note that certain system-related behaviors regarding voice processing have been observed in this version of the game.

The story is set in "Baraduke," an alternate dimension ruled by unknown life forms, where Earth Federation soldier Kissy enters to carry out her mission. Her objective is to rescue her comrades and escape from this space, which serves as a nest for the aliens. Equipped with a powerful Wave Gun, the player’s goal is to defeat the grotesque monsters that appear one after another.
