To rescue his lover, Sherry, who was kidnapped by pirates, a young man named Tom sets off from an island in a hot air balloon, racing across various lands in pursuit of her. At every turn, Sherry is repeatedly snatched away by various enemies, including pirates, giant birds, and tribes, and each time, Tom attempts a rescue. The journey spans locations from ships and jungles to as far as London Bridge, and after overcoming numerous hardships, the two are finally reunited.
