Description

Released by Namco in November 1983, Phozon is a unique action game that debuted with the inventive catchphrase, "Stimulates the right half of the brain." Players control a unit called "Chemik" using an eight-way joystick, with the goal of collecting and assembling "Molecs"—units based on chemical symbols—to complete specific formations. A key strategic element involves using a button to detach incorrectly connected pieces. Though the gameplay is niche, its excellent sound design captivated many players. Consisting of 8 worlds and 24 stages in total, along with additional challenge stages, the game offered a highly unique experience for its time.
