Description

Released in 1981 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Nihon Bussan, this fixed-screen action game tasks players with controlling Tom, a plumber who must repair water pipes damaged by mice to deliver water to a bathtub. Using only an eight-way joystick, players must efficiently connect pipes while fending off mice, each possessing distinct personalities reminiscent of the ghosts in Pac-Man. Clearing a stage by filling the bathtub with enough water rewards the player with a special scene. This title captures the atmosphere of arcade gaming from that era, including the coffee break sequences between stages featuring a woman whose performance was partially altered in later versions, making it a valuable piece of gaming history.

Story

Control Tom the plumber and repair the water pipes, which have been destroyed by mischievous mice, to deliver water from the storage tank to the bathtub. The mice will try every trick in the book to hinder Tom's work, such as detaching pipe joints and planting bombs. Tom must move around the stage to knock the mice off and get rid of them, all while putting the disconnected pipes back in place. If you manage to fill the bathtub with enough water, the stage is cleared, and a special reward awaits.
