Plotting

Released by Taito in 1989 for arcades, Flipple (known internationally as Plotting) is an action-puzzle game in which players control an adorable protagonist to clear away stacks of blocks. Using a two-way vertical lever and a single button, players launch blocks marked with circles, crosses, squares, or triangles to hit and eliminate matching icons. The game features a strategic chain reaction mechanic where clearing blocks causes those positioned behind them to move forward. Players progress by clearing specific stage requirements. It remains a masterpiece of the era, offering intuitive controls balanced with a surprising degree of depth and strategy.
