Mega Zone

Released in 1984 by Konami (now Konami Digital Entertainment) for arcades, this title is a vertical-scrolling shooter. Players pilot a fighter craft, advancing while destroying enemies that appear on the ground and in the air. A defining feature of the game is the way the player's craft transforms and upgrades as the stages progress.
