Description

Released by Namco in 1983, Libble Rabble stands as a monumental arcade title, being the first in Japan to utilize the 68000 CPU. Players control two levers to manipulate a magical rope, hooking it around pegs on the screen in a unique action called "Bashishi" to corral enemies. A key charm of the game is its playful design: once players locate hidden treasure chests, they must capture all six "Top-Kaps"—the fairies that spring out—to enter a bonus stage. Decades after its release, its deep, sophisticated gameplay system retains a fantastic brilliance that remains as vibrant as ever after more than 40 years.
