Kickle Cubele

Released by Irem in June 1988 for arcades, Kickle Cubele is an action-puzzle game set in a world where dreams have been stolen. Players take on the role of Kickle, a youth entrusted with a mission by a local sage, and must navigate stages by utilizing gimmicks such as blocks, hammers, and springs to collect all the dream bags scattered throughout the screen. The controls consist of a four-way joystick and two buttons, used to freeze enemies and kick them, or to create pillars of ice. Enjoy the adventure of this hero from the heavens across all 40 stages.

The protagonist, Kickle, is tasked by a hermit with retrieving the Dream Bags stolen by monsters. Each round takes place on an icy island surrounded by the sea; Kickle progresses by freezing enemies into ice blocks and kicking them to create land. The round is cleared once all the Dream Bags placed throughout the stage have been collected.
