Gondomania

Released by Data East in 1987, Gondomania is a side-scrolling action game set in a unique fantasy world. A key feature of the game is the ability to select from a roster of distinct characters, allowing players to swap between them to adapt to different situations. As an ambitious title that incorporated cooperative elements and a wide variety of weapon attacks into the arcade scene of the era, it remains well-regarded today as part of Data East's characteristically idiosyncratic lineup.

After the women of their tribe are kidnapped by the Gondo, a group of warriors rises up to rescue them. Setting out for the "Planet of Thorns," the warriors mount their air bikes and battle their way through the enemy forces.
