Description

Released in 1988 for the MSX2, *Dome* is a chilling science fiction text adventure developed by System Sacom that pushes the boundaries of atmospheric storytelling. Set within a claustrophobic, devastated future where humanity hides inside a sealed city, players must navigate a terrifying biological outbreak to survive. Distributed on two 2DD disks, the game is noted for its evocative narrative and intense themes of psychological horror. It remains a significant example of the high-end adventure titles produced for the MSX2 platform during the late 1980s.

Story

In the 21st century, humanity resides within a massive, domed city on a desolate, once-thriving Earth. The fragile peace of this sanctuary is shattered when an unidentified biological weapon infiltrates the dome, turning the habitat into a claustrophobic death trap. Facing total extinction, the protagonist must infiltrate the deepest sectors of the facility to confront the threat and secure the future of the human race.
