Description

Released in 1989 for the MSX2, *Mon Mon Monster* is a unique hybrid title developed by GA-M/Hot-B that blends puzzle-oriented action with text adventure mechanics. Players control a mysterious creature through various stages, navigating complex puzzles by interacting with a cast of eccentric monsters. As a 1Mb ROM cartridge representative of the era's experimentation, the game is notable for its integration of command-input gameplay with an adult-oriented narrative. It stands as a distinct, albeit niche, example of the diverse software library available to the MSX2 platform in the late 1980s.

Story

A peculiar and mysterious creature known as the "Mon Mon Monster" has suddenly appeared in a peaceful town. As the player, you take control of this creature to navigate through various stages, solving complex puzzles along the way. By maneuvering a variety of unique monsters, your ultimate objective is to overcome each challenge and successfully clear all the stages.
