Description

Released in 1988 as the third entry in System Sacom’s "Novelware" series, this title is a sci-fi mystery that explores the fusion of literature and computer games, featuring an original story by translator Sanpei Kamata. It introduced an innovative "Novel Generator" feature that could output the player's progress as a cohesive novel, alongside a multi-ending system that shifts based on the player's choices. The evocative soundtrack, composed by a 17-year-old Manabu Saito, was highly acclaimed at the time. The game stands as a symbolic work of the 1980s PC gaming scene, which was then actively pushing the boundaries of interactive expression.

Story

Protagonist Julius Lynch discovers the body of Dr. Deloga in his laboratory and instinctively pursues a shadowy figure through a dimension transfer device. He arrives at Sedeka, a desolate mining town on the planet Rembozend. To clear his name after being framed for the doctor's murder, Lynch must search for the true culprit while communicating with a mysterious woman named Shati, who calls out to him via telepathy. As love, hatred, and the mysteries of his own memory intertwine, the story's outcome is shaped entirely by the player's decisions.
