Released by Policy in April 1984, Monster Land is a single-screen action game developed for the PC-8801. While the objective of collecting gems scattered across maze-like stages is straightforward, the unique traps and enemy algorithms provide players with intense gameplay. It is an extremely rare title that helped support the early days of the manufacturer that would later go on to create the acclaimed RPG, Shoujo Sentai Angel.

An explorer named "Ban-kun" sets out in search of jewels, stepping into a maze-like stage filled with monsters. Players control Ban-kun, navigating the map to collect every gem while dodging the relentless pursuit of enemies. The journey begins now: a simple yet tension-filled quest that unfolds within the confines of a single-screen stage.
