Description

Originally released by Konami for the PC-8801 in 1990, "Ten to Chi to" is a historical simulation game that faithfully recreates the world of the Kadokawa film of the same name. Developed in collaboration with Kogado Studio, the game uses stunning graphics and a robust strategic balance to vividly depict the Sengoku period and the legendary Battle of Kawanakajima. Its large-scale release across three 5.25-inch floppy disks highlights the immense ambition and attention to detail developers poured into recreating this cinematic experience. It remains a hallmark of 1990s gaming that captivated both film fans and history buffs alike.

Story

This historical simulation explores the life of the great Sengoku warlord Nagao Kagetora, later known as Uesugi Kenshin. As the lord of Echigo, players must expand their territory and strengthen the nation's power in their quest to unify Japan. Inspired by the film, the game features dramatic, historically-inspired events and cinematic sequences. It chronicles the epic rivalry between the "Dragon of Echigo," Kagetora, and the "Tiger of Kai," Takeda Harunobu, in a grand historical tapestry.
