The story follows a young ninja-in-training named Ninja-kun who must rise up against a legion of evil. When a mysterious demon castle suddenly appears and threatens the peace of his village, Ninja-kun sets off alone to rescue his captured friends. Players command Ninja-kun as he fights through waves of enemies, ascending deep into the heart of the castle to reach the boss waiting on the top floor.
