Description

Based on Osamu Tezuka’s timeless masterpiece "Dororo," this adventure game developed by Quasar Soft serves as both a sequel and a conclusion to the original, unfinished manga. The game leverages the PC-8801's graphic capabilities to create a haunting atmosphere and utilizes a strategic combat system that allows players to target specific body parts of supernatural demons. With support for the Sound Board 2, it stands as a valuable piece of gaming history that showcases cutting-edge narrative techniques of the era. It offers fans of the original work the long-awaited opportunity to experience the ultimate conclusion to the story through their own controls.

Story

Set during the Muromachi period, the story follows Hyakkimaru, a young man born missing forty-eight body parts after they were stolen by demons. To reclaim his stolen physical form, Hyakkimaru embarks on a perilous journey across the land. As the original manga was left unfinished, this game provides an original storyline that acts as both a sequel and a definitive conclusion. Accompanied by his loyal partner, Dororo, Hyakkimaru must face a harsh destiny while hunting down the demons that stand in his way.
