Fleeing a curse placed upon their sacred land of Ish-Vaahn, dragons escaped across dimensional walls to live in peace within the "Dragon Kingdom." One day, a human girl named Tamrin is rescued from a shipwreck and raised alongside a young blue dragon named Atroshan. When Tamrin eventually returns to her homeland as her destiny demands, Atroshan senses her impending crisis and receives the "Silver Scale," which allows him to take on human form.
