Description

Developed by System House Oh and published by Gandeck in 1990, Emerald Densetsu is a unique "bishojo" RPG for the PC-8801 that blends side-scrolling exploration with character cultivation. Players take on the role of the protagonist, Mill, as she traverses dangerous labyrinths in search of five scattered "Seeds" to save the planet Sera. The game features innovative movement and combat mechanics, representing a period of creative experimentation within the PC gaming market of the time. Its rarity and distinctive progression offer a fascinating glimpse into the formative stages of the bishojo genre in retro gaming history.

Story

Somewhere in the galaxy lies the planet Sera, where citizens once lived protected by an energy barrier known as the "Force." However, a sudden demonic invasion shattered this peace, scattering the "Seeds"—the magical crystals that serve as the planet’s life-support system—across the world. As the young heroine Mill, you must explore the planet and embark on an adventure to recover the five lost Seeds and restore the Force to save your home.
