Description

Released in December 1987 for the PC-8801, *Cosmo Seishi Liisa* was a notable title featured in the Takeru software vending machine service initiated by Brother Industries. Developed by Micro Factory, this sci-fi role-playing game follows the journey of the titular heroine, Liisa, a "Saint" tasked with defending galactic order against a rising army of evil. The game is particularly celebrated for featuring character designs by the renowned illustrator Akemi Takada, whose contributions gave the title a distinct and memorable visual appeal. As an early example of software distribution via digital kiosks, it remains a significant artifact of the late 1980s Japanese home computing era.

Story

In the vast expanse of the galaxy, a young girl named Liisa serves as a "Saint," a protector tasked with maintaining cosmic order. Together with a cast of distinctive characters designed by legendary artist Akemi Takada, Liisa must fight to restore harmony to the galaxy.
