Description

Released by Kure Software Koubou in 1988, Silver Ghost is a monumental title that pioneered the genre later known as Real-Time Strategy. It was the first to implement the "chaotic unit" system in the vein of Bokosuka Wars, elevating the chaotic excitement of large-scale group battles into a simulation RPG. Players take on the role of Prince Lancelot on a quest to reclaim Camelot Castle and avenge his late father. The game’s system, where unique units fight autonomously, served as a vital foundation for later masterpieces like First Queen and Duel.

Story

Peaceful Camelot Castle fell after the Black Knight Lucius harnessed the power of the underworld, leading to the untimely death of King Aslot. Raised in secret after being exiled, the heir Prince Lancelot has grown into a skilled swordsman over the span of fifteen years. Inspired by a mission entrusted to him by his father's spirit, Lancelot sets out on a grand adventure to retrieve the lost royal crest and holy sword to reclaim his kingdom. As he gathers allies and leads his army into battle across the land, the young prince’s destiny begins to unfold.
