A crisis has erupted at the space station "Lylane," located at stellar coordinates 82HS-4710-1, where the defense systems have suddenly gone berserk and begun attacking nearby ships without discrimination. To resolve this threat, the player—a member of the special command unit "MAD STELS"—must pilot the "COR-80Z" and infiltrate the station alone. The mission is to break through the enemy's defense network and input a correction routine into the station's master controller, successfully normalizing the runaway system.
