Kami no Seito

Released in 1989 by Studio Panther, *Kami no Seito* took three years to develop and packed a massive volume for its time, spanning eight floppy disks on the PC-8801. Set in Yokohama's Kannai district, the story follows a man searching for his missing lover in "Agartha," a city suddenly transformed into an otherworldly realm, utilizing a system that weaves in RPG elements. The game was marketed as a "Hyper Visual Adventure," showcasing a dedicated fusion of music and visuals, even including an original 8cm mini-album.

On August 8, 1990, a cataclysmic event occurred in Yokohama's Kannai district, isolating the area from the world and turning it into a lawless zone known as "Agartha." Two years later, a young man named Yuki ventures into this dangerous, otherworldly territory to find his lover, Yukari, who vanished during the disaster. In a land where ordinary life has been erased, Yuki meets an eclectic cast of allies and begins to uncover the terrifying truth behind the Holy City.
