Description

Released in 1985 for the SG-1000, *Girl's Garden* is a notable stage-clearing action game developed by Sega, historically significant as the debut work of Yuji Naka. Players control Papri, who must collect flowers to create a bouquet for her boyfriend, Mint, while navigating past obstacles like bears and competing against a rival named Cocco. To survive encounters with bears, players must strategically utilize honey offered by bees. With its charming pixel art and early character-driven gameplay, this title remains a distinct entry in the history of Sega’s home console software.

Story

In this charming 1985 classic, you play as Papri, a young girl on a mission to gather a bouquet of wildflowers for her boyfriend, Minto. As you navigate the field, you must cleverly use honey carried by bees to distract or bypass the bears that stand in your way. Success depends on your speed, as you must collect the flowers and reach Minto before your love rival, Kokko, arrives. Only by presenting the bouquet first can you ensure that Papri’s budding romance truly blossoms.
